LJ, sobrang napagod sa Amerika!
Nakabalik na sa Pilipinas si LJ Moreno at asawang si Jimmy Alapag pagkalipas ng anim na taong paninirahan sa Amerika. Ayon sa aktres ay talagang hinahanap-hanap na niya ang pag-arte sa harap ng kamera.
“Gusto ko, like being in the States, sabi ko, parang sobrang napagod ako sa States. And the last year or so, parang sabi ko, na-miss ko nang mag-actor or mag-host. You know what I mean? Getting made up again, not being in a hoodie, no more kuskos-kubeta and all that,” natatawang pahayag sa amin ni LJ sa Fast Talk with Boy Abunda.
Masayang-masaya ang aktres para sa propesyon ng basketbolistang mister bilang isang Player Development Coach ng Sacramento Kings sa NBA o National Basketball Association. Si Jimmy ang tumatayong head coach ngayon ng NLEX Road Warriors. Dito sa Pilipinas. “Player Development Coach, basically your role on the team is work with certain players. The head coach will sign certain players on the team for you to work with. Meaning, before practice, after practice, after games. We watch films, sabay tayo. It’s really building relationship with the players. And at the same time ‘yung preparation for the games, you’ll be in charge. You’ll be the one to present in front of the team. The video, ‘yung game plan,” pagdedetalye ni Jimmy.
Sa susunod na buwan ay magdiriwang ng kanilang ika-16 na taong anibersaryo ang mag-asawa. Ayon kay LJ ay mayroon silang sikreto ni Jimmy upang manatiling maayos at masaya ang kanilang pagsasama. “I think number 1 is our marriage is like ‘yung foundation namin with our faith, putting God in the center. That’s number 1, I think. Ang dami naming pinagdaanan. People think we were in the States, he’s in the NBA, akala nila madali pero ang daming struggles when we were there. Siguro kung wala ‘yung faith namin, may time na gusto ko nang umuwi,” makahulugang paglalahad ng aktres.
Para naman kay Jimmy ay hindi rin madali bilang asawa at ama sa kanilang apat na anak ang kanyang trabaho sa Amerika. “To be honest, Tito Boy, it just felt like the right time. And not just for myself, for my career. But I think more importantly, for our family. As you can see, ‘yung asawa ko is extremely happy. And even for the kids. Kasi medyo mabigat when you’re traveling throughout the NBA season. Kasi minsan ‘yung road trips are 5 days, 10 days, even up to 14 days,” paliwanag ni Jimmy.
Madalas na nagiging single parent umano si LJ dahil palaging hindi nakakasama si Jimmy noong nasa Amerika sila. “It’s been six years and matagal ko nang pinagpi-pray (na makauwi sa Pilipinas). Although I’m very happy with his career and all that stuff. But no place like home talaga, Tito Boy. Solo parenting most of the NBA season. And no help do’n, Tito Boy. Kasi dito, we have all the help. Iba talaga,” pagbabahagi ng aktres. — Reports from JCC
