MANILA, Philippines — Nine health care providers in Calabarzon have been removed from the Yaman ng Kalusugan Program or YAKAP of the Philippine Health Insurance Corp.

In an advisory, PhilHealth said these health facilities did not renew their accreditation for the YAKAP.

PhilHealth identified the facilities as the Adventist University of the Philippines, Alfonso Municipal Health Office, Medeek Ambulatory Surgical Clinic, Municipal Health Office-Ternate, Ospital ng Cabuyao, South Imus Specialist Hospital Inc., Tagaytay Medical Center Inc., Tanza Specialist Medical Center and Thaddeus Maternity Clinic.

PhilHealth said these facilities could no longer engage in free primary care consultations, medical check-ups and preventive health services as well as out-patient medication covered under the program of the state health insurer.
