3 dead in Pangasinan road mishaps

LINGAYEN, Philippines — Three people died while another was injured in separate road accidents in Pangasinan in the past two days.

The first fatality, a 42-year-old rider, was traveling in Barangay Bactad East, Urdaneta City when his motorcycle collided with another motorbike driven by a mechanic on Tuesday night.

The mechanic reportedly tried to overtake, causing him to crash into the victim’s motorcycle.

Both drivers were rushed to the Urdaneta District Hospital where the 42-year-old victim was declared dead on arrival.

On the same night, another motorcycle rider was killed in a collision in Barangay Dinalaoan in Calasiao, while a 21-year-old man died after his motorcycle hit a van in Barangay Tobuan, Labrador town yesterday.
