MANILA, Philippines — Bohol journalist Ric Obedencio passed away yesterday at the age of 69.
Obedencio’s family confirmed his passing through a post on social media released by his daughter, Hannah.
Obedencio had served as correspondent of The Freeman and The Philippine STAR in Bohol.
He also served as president of the Bohol Tri-Media Association, and editor and columnist of news organizations based in the province.
