2 House lawmakers resign

MANILA, Philippines — Two party-list representatives have resigned in compliance with a term-sharing agreement they had with their fellow nominees.
The resignations of Representatives Nathaniel Oducado (1Tahanan) and Franz Vincent Legazpi (Pinoy Workers) were announced on Monday.
With the party-list groups expected to fill the vacancies, the total number of House members remains at 318 for the entire duration of the 20th Congress.
Oducado had served as vice chairman of the House committees on climate change, housing and urban development as well as national defense and security.
Legazpi was vice chair of the House land use panel.
