Hosaka named GCG commissioner

MANILA, Philippines —   A former official of the body formed to investigate anomalous flood control projects has been named commissioner of the agency overseeing state-run firms.

President Marcos has appointed Brian Keith Hosaka as commissioner of the Governance Commission for Government-Owned and Controlled Corporations.

Executive Secretary Ralph Recto swore in Hosaka on Wednesday.

Prior to his appointment, Hosaka was executive director and spokesman for the Independent Commission for Infrastructure.
