MANILA, Philippines — Bonifacio Drive in Manila will be opened to motorists today following the completion of its drainage upgrades, the Department of Public Works and Highways said yesterday.
DPWH Secretary Vince Dizon said the agency finished the road repairs three weeks ahead of schedule.
Dizon inspected the project on Wednes- day with Manila Mayor Isko Moreno. With the opening of the 300-meter road section, Dizon said traffic flow in the area would improve.
Dizon and Moreno also inspected the newly repaired drainage system along Taft Avenue.
