PCG issues falling debris warning

MANILA, Philippines — The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) yesterday announced that China would launch this morning a Long March 7 rocket, as it warned people that debris might fall near the vicinity of Bajo de Masinloc in Zambales. 

The PCG issued a notice to inform all mariners that the rocket would be launched from the Wenchang Space Launch Site in Hainan between 8:05 a.m. and 8:29 a.m. today.

According to the PCG, the approximate impact areas of the rocket debris would be at 34 nautical miles from Bajo de Masinloc in Zambales, 97 NM from Cabra Island in Occidental Mindoro and 130 NM from Busuanga, Palawan.
