MANILA, Philippines — Malacañang has declared May 11 a special non-working day in Biliran for the celebration of the province’s founding anniversary.
The holiday declaration was contained under Proclamation 1240 signed by Executive Secretary Ralph Recto on May 7.
The Palace granted a request filed by Biliran Gov. Rogelio Espina to declare May 11 a non-working day, to allow people to celebrate and participate in the occasion.
