TUBLAY, Benguet — Authorities overran a suspected marijuana greenhouse in Tublay, Benguet, on Thursday, March 26.

The marijuana greenhouse, located in Barangay Caponga, contained 90 fully grown marijuana plants valued at P18,000.

Cordillera police said the discovery followed a March 12 sting operation in which the greenhouse owner was apprehended, prompting an investigation that led them to the marijuana greenhouse two weeks later.

Cordillera police director Brig. Gen. Ericson Dilag noted that the discovery, possibly a first in the government’s campaign against the marijuana trade in Benguet and the rest of the Cordillera region, was made possible through close coordination between police and the PDEA.
