Makati Med running low on blood supply

MANILA, Philippines — The Makati Medical Center (MMC) switched on the red lights installed on the façade of Tower 1, indicating that the medical institution is running low on blood supply.

The MMC last activated its red lights on June 10, 2025.

“Let’s give the gift of life as we usher in the new year,” the hospital said on social media yesterday. “One blood donation can save up to three lives.”

Interested donors can walk in at the hospital’s blood bank on the second floor of Tower 2. The facility is open daily from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.
