Comelec suspends issuance of voter certification

MANILA, Philippines — The Commission on Elections has suspended the issuance of voter certification at the Comelec central office in Intramuros, Manila.

Starting yesterday, the Comelec said it would no longer issue voter certification due to maintenance work on the Automated Fingerprint Identification System’s server.

The poll body advised the public to secure certifications from the Office of the Election Officer in the city or municipality where they are registered as a voter.
