MANILA, Philippines — Domestic workers in Metro Manila are expected to receive a salary increase as the monthly minimum wage rate for kasambahay will be reviewed by the Regional Tripartite Wages and Productivity Board.

The RTWPB has urged domestic workers to participate in a survey to provide information for the ongoing review.

In January, the minimum monthly salary of domestic workers in Metro Manila was increased to P7,000.

The wage review will be undertaken as provided under the Kasambahay Law.
