CAMP VICENTE LIM, Laguna, Philippines — A police informant was shot dead by a suspected drug trafficker in Rodriguez, Rizal before dawn on Wednesday.
The body of the victim, identified only as Kevs, was found at past 9 a.m. by his sister at his home in Barangay San Isidro.
Probers said the victim could have been asleep when the assailant barged in and shot him at close range.
Police said the assailant may have known that the victim was a police informant.
