Elderly care facility in Rizal receives mobility equipment

MANILA, Philippines — An elderly care facility in Antipolo, Rizal recently benefitted from a donation of wheelchairs and canes from a local firm specializing in mobility solutions for comfort and care.
Granicare said its partnership with the Kanlungan ni Maria, a home for the aged in the Diocese of Antipolo in Rizal, resulted in over 20 senior residents receiving care packages that included essential kits, alongside 10 wheelchairs and 10 canes.
The company said the initiative, which was held last November 14, aimed to ease mobility and enhance independence for the elderly beneficiaries.
“The program was filled with thoughtful gifts, a heartfelt singing performance, dinner, and genuine interaction and conversation between the residents and the host. Beyond the material support, these moments of connection reflected Granicare’s belief that true care is expressed not only through products but also through presence, empathy, and shared experiences,” Granicare said in a news release.
“Every smile, every story, and every interaction resonated with the brand’s mission to bring dignity, joy, and comfort to those who may feel physically limited or restricted,” it added.
The company said those interested to learn its range of mobility solutions, are welcome to visit their warehouse on Dulalia St., Lingunan, Valenzuela City, or online through their Facebook page.
