Engineer shot dead in Maguindanao

COTABATO CITY , Philippines — An engineer was killed in an attack by unidentified assailants in Datu Odin Sinsuat, Maguindanao del Norte on Tuesday.

Romeo Livelo, who was assigned at the social services ministry of the Bangsamoro regional government, was declared dead on arrival in a nearby hospital.

Livelo was on his way home on a motorcycle when the assailants waylaid him in Barangay Awang.

Probers have yet to identify suspects and determine the motive for the killing.
