4 die in Davao vehicular mishap

COTABATO CITY, Philippines — Four people including three young boys died in a vehicular accident involving a concrete mixer truck in Bansalan, Davao del Sur on Friday.
Reports said the boys were walking to school when they were hit by the truck in Barangay Managa.
The truck reportedly developed engine trouble, causing the driver to lose control of the wheel and the vehicle to roll over.
The driver’s helper was injured in the incident.
The victims were rushed to a nearby hospital where four of them died while being treated.
The municipal government of Bansalan vowed to compel the owner of the truck to compensate the families of the victims.
Meanwhile, in Pangasinan, two people died while another was injured in a motorcycle accident in Malasiqui town on Friday.
The victims were traveling in Barangay Taloy when the driver lost control of the wheel, causing the motorcycle to crash into a concrete post.
The impact threw the victims off their vehicle. They were rushed to a nearby hospital, where two of them were declared dead on arrival.
