Family of 4 dead in road mishap

INFANTA, Pangasinan, Philippines — Four members of a family died in a vehicular accident in this town on Monday afternoon.

Reports said the victims were in a tricycle driven by the head of the family when they figured in the accident that occurred in Barangay Bayambang at past 2 p.m.

Probers said the tricycle first hit a tree branch lying along the road, causing the driver to lose control of the wheel and the vehicle to collide with the van.

The victims, including two children, were declared dead on arrival in a hospital. The van driver was taken to a police station for questioning.
