‘Sana all’: Ilocos Sur LGU declares ‘Day of Rejuvenation’ on August 22

MANILA, Philippines — The Ilocos Sur provincial government will observe a “Day of Rejuvenation” on Friday, August 22. 

In a Facebook post on Thursday, August 21, the provincial government said the observance would give employees a long weekend following the Ninoy Aquino Day holiday on Thursday, August 21.

It explained that the move was meant to prioritize the wellness of its employees.

"This initiative allows our employees to rest, recharge, and return to work with renewed focus towards public service and for the upcoming strategic planning sessions,” the provincial government said in a Facebook post. 

Normal operations are scheduled to resume on Tuesday, August 26, after the regular holiday for National Heroes Day on Monday, August 25.
