Go inaugurates multipurpose building in Bohol
MANILA, Philippines — Sen. Bong Go affirmed his support for residents of Alburquerque in Bohol in a series of engagements on Friday, including the inauguration of a new multipurpose building.
During the ceremony, Go cited the importance of the facility for disaster preparedness and community activities.
As vice chairman of the Senate committee on finance, Go said he supported funding for the construction of the project in Barangay Bahi.
Go thanked the community for trusting him, particularly for giving him an opportunity to serve the country.
He assured residents that his office would continue supporting them. He said the facility will serve as a convenient site for patient assistance and space for evacuees during calamities.
Go reiterated his advocacy for sports, health and youth development, noting the facility’s relevance to these activities.
He thanked Mayor Don Ritchie Buates and Vice Mayor Dagohoy Samar for their leadership as well as the town councilors, barangay leaders and officials of the Sangguniang Kabataan.
Go visited the town’s public market and tennis court, which were inaugurated in December 2023.He supported the construction of these facilities as chairman of the Senate committee on sports.
