Three dead in Benguet landslide

ITOGON, Benguet, Philippines — Three villagers died from a landslide that hit Camp 5 in Barangay Virac in Itogon, Benguet on Sunday.

Authorities said the landslide was caused by continuous rains in the past days and have advised villagers to coordinate with the local government to prevent possible disasters.

The Itogon Fire Station emergency response team, town police, Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office and other rescue units to recover the bodies of the three victims.
