June 24 declared special holiday in San Juan, Manila

MANILA, Philippines — President Marcos has declared June 24 a special non-working holiday in San Juan for the celebration of the Wattah! Wattah! Festival.
“It is but fitting and proper that the people of San Juan be given full opportunity to participate in the occasion and enjoy the celebration,” Marcos said in issuing Proclamation 929.
The proclamation was signed by Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin on June 13. It was published in the Official Gazette on June 17.
Malacañang earlier declared June 24 a special non-working day in Manila to mark the city’s 454th founding anniversary through Proclamation 925.
The Palace also issued Proclamation 928 declaring June 20 a special non-working day in Malapatan, Sarangani for the town’s 56th founding anniversary, in lieu of its original date, June 21, which falls on a Saturday.
