CAMP VICENTE LIM, Laguna, Philippines — Two senior citizens died in a fire that destroyed their house in General Trias, Cavite on Friday.

The fatalities, identified as Leticia Tee, 76, and Arsenia, 80, were reportedly trapped when the fire broke out at around 3:30 a.m. in Barangay Manggahan.

The fire lasted two hours and was declared under control at around 5 a.m.

Investigators are eyeing faulty power connection as the cause of the fire.
