Punch kills man in Malolos

CAMP ALEJO SANTOS, Bulacan, Philippines — It only took one punch to knock a man down in Malolos City on Sunday, which eventually led to his death.

Col. Franklin Estoro, acting Bulacan police chief, identified the victim as alias JC, who was about to board his motorcycle when the suspect, Angelo, arrived and punched him in the face.

Angelo, according to initial investigation, accused JC of harassing his girlfriend.

Witnesses brought JC to the Bulacan Medical Center in Malolos City, where he was declared dead on arrival.

JC’s friends sought assistance from Barangay Santor officials who quickly arrested Angelo. The suspect is detained at the Malolos police station pending the filing of charges.
