CSC sets career service exam on August 10
MANILA, Philippines — The Civil Service Commission (CSC) has opened the application for this year’s second Career Service Examination-Pen and Paper Test (CSE-PPT) to be held on Aug. 10.
The application period will end on June 11, the CSC said.
“Applications will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. CSC regional or field offices may stop accepting applications before the deadline once the target number of examinees is reached,” the commission said.
The second CSE-PPT, both for professional and sub-professional levels, will be held in 95 testing centers across the country.
The first CSE-PPT was held on March 2. The result was released on May 2 with 46,470 out of the 318,977 examinees passing the exam.
Passing the exam grants civil service eligibility for those seeking first- and second-level positions in government.
The applicants must not have been convicted by final judgment of a crime involving moral turpitude or of disgraceful/immoral conduct, dishonesty, examination irregularity, drunkenness or drug addiction.
