MANILA, Philippines —  The easterlies will continue to bring hot and humid weather even as a low-pressure area (LPA) has entered the Philippine area of responsibility, according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration.

PAGASA said the LPA is not likely to develop into a tropical depression, but the earsterlies would bring localized thunderstorms, particularly in the afternoon and evening.
