Bohol, Bulacan stings yield P10.5 million shabu

TAGBILARAN CITY, Philippines — Police here seized 550 grams of shabu, valued at P3.7 million, during a sting operation in Barangay Manga on Saturday.

John Kareen Escober, Tagbilaran police chief, said the operation also led to the arrest of suspected illegal drug trader Elwin Paredes.

In Bulacan, the Philippine National Police Drug Enforcement Group (PDEG) seized one kilo of suspected shabu, worth P6.8 million, during a drug sting in Barangay Minuyan V in San Jose Del Monte City on Saturday.

Col. Rolando Cuya, PDEG officer-in-charge, said operatives arrested the suspected trader, identified as alias Belinda, during the operation.

Drug-related charges were filed against the two suspects.
