MANILA, Philippines — The Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR) donated over P90 million worth of dialysis machines and a CT scan unit to the Pampanga Provincial Dialysis Center.

The donation coincided with the inauguration of the dialysis center in Guagua town on Friday.

PAGCOR chairman Alejandro Tengco said the center is not just a response to the medical needs of dialysis patients, but a symbol of government care and compassion.

“We know how expensive and exhausting dialysis treatment can be, not just financially but physically, mentally and emotionally,” Tengco said.

Pampanga Gov. Dennis Pineda expressed gratitude to PAGCOR and other partners who supported the initiative.

“We will make sure that everyone will be served without spending a single centavo,” Pineda said.

The Pampanga Provincial Dialysis Center 1 is a stand-alone clinic developed under a public-private partnership. In addition to dialysis services, it offers nutritional counseling, social work support and patient education to meet the broader needs of patients and their families.
