CSC: Search for outstanding government workers open

MANILA, Philippines — The Civil Service Commission (CSC) has opened the nominations for the 2025 Search for Outstanding Government Workers, an annual recognition of exemplary public servants.
“If there is a government worker that inspired you or has changed the lives of people, improved the community or made significant contributions to the nation, nominate them,” the CSC said.
Nominations will be accepted until March 31.
The CSC said all career and non-career government employees, including appointive barangay officials, are eligible for nomination.
Posthumous nominations are also allowed for public servants who died in the line of duty or in the pursuit of their official duties and responsibilities.
“As part of the government’s Honor Awards Program, the annual search aims to recognize civil servants for their dedication and commitment to public service while inspiring others to uphold excellence and integrity in government work,” the CSC said.
Job order or contract of service employees are excluded from the coverage of the program.
Nominations may be submitted under any of the three categories: Presidential Lingkod Bayan Award, CSC Pagasa Award and Outstanding Public Officials and Employees or the Dangal ng Bayan Award.
The commission said the awardees would receive rewards and incentives, including cash prizes, automatic promotion or salary increase equivalent to the next higher position, one-time executive check-up and scholarship grants from the CSC’s partner educational institutions.
For the complete nomination guidelines and to download the nomination form, the CSC urged the public to visit its website https://www.csc.gov.ph/ or contact the HAP Secretariat through email at [email protected].
