Sen. Bong Go visits fire victims at Morning Breeze Homes in Barangay Alabang, Muntinlupa last week.

MANILA, Philippines — Sen. Bong Go has provided additional aid to families affected by a recent fire in Muntinlupa.

Food packs, snacks, vitamins, shirts, basketballs and volleyballs were distributed to 253 beneficiaries at Morning Breeze Homes in Barangay Alabang.

Select beneficiaries received a bicycle, cell phone, shoes and a watch.  

Housing aid was provided through Go’s coordination with the National Housing Authority.

The Bureau of Fire Protection is undergoing a modernization program to enhance its capabilities, Go noted.

He acknowledged Mayor Ruffy Biazon and Barangay Alabang chairperson Christine May Abas for their efforts in helping the fire victims.

Go also helped fire victims in Parañaque and the cities of Mandaue and Talisay in Cebu.
