Ultra Lotto prize soars to P231 million

MANILA, Philippines — The jackpot in the Ultra Lotto 6/58 is estimated to reach P231 million for tonight’s draw, according to the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office.

PCSO general manager and vice chairman Melquiades Robles said no bettor won the six-digit combination 31-25-13-05-26-10, which had a total prize of P222,828,140.

Ninety-five lotto bettors guessed five digits of the winning combination. They will receive P120,000 each.

The Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion Law imposes a 20-percent tax on lotto winnings above P10,000.
