MANILA, Philippines — A vintage bomb was found on a road near the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 2 in Pasay yesterday.
The bomb, believed to be American-made and used during World War II, was discovered by workers of the NAIA Infra Corp. Inc. working on a road widening project along MIA Road.
The road widening activity was stopped following the discovery of the bomb.
Police said the bomb could still explode. It was brought to the Philippine National Police Explosive Ordnance Disposal Unit for proper disposal.
