P7.5 million marijuana plants destroyed in Benguet
The marijuana plants were ready for harvest when a joint team of the police and Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency conducted the raids in Barangay Badeo in Kibungan town, according to Col. Joseph Bayongasan, Benguet police director.

BAGUIO CITY, Philippines – Marijuana plants worth about P7.5 million were destroyed in Benguet on Tuesday.

The marijuana plants were ready for harvest when a joint team of the police and Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency conducted the raids in Barangay Badeo in Kibungan town, according to Col. Joseph Bayongasan, Benguet police director.

Samples of the marijuana were taken to the forensics unit of the Cordillera police for analysis.
