CAMP VICENTE LIM, Laguna, Philippines — Three people were found dead in Calamba, Laguna on Monday morning.
The remains of Felix Busion, 64, alias Ferdie; his partner Vivian, and Dante Luzano, 51, were found at past 9 a.m. in a vacant property in Barangay Mayapa.
Busion and Lozano were found in a nipa hut while Vivian was found lying on the ground, according to Lt. Col. Titoy Cuden, Calamba police chief.
Cuden said the victims suffered injuries in the head. He said the victims could have been asleep when the suspect, identified as alias Anthony, 41, hit them with a hard object.
Probers said the weapon believed used in the killing was recovered near the crime scene.
The suspect was arrested several hours after the discovery of the crime.
“The suspect was positively identified by a barangay official who saw him having a drinking session with the victims before the bodies were discovered,” Cuden told The STAR.
He said Anthony’s partner told probers that the suspect committed the crime.
Police are eyeing jealousy as the motive for the murder.
Cuden said Anthony suspected Luzano and his partner of having an affair.
