Man, 60, dies in motorcycle crash

MANILA, Philippines —  A 60-year-old man died after being hit by a motorcycle while crossing a street in Manila on Sunday night.

Dennis Bisco died at the scene from severe head injuries, according to police probers.

The accident occurred along New Panaderos street at around 10 p.m.

Reports said a Yamaha Aerox motorcycle driven by 21-year-old Jiohan Co, a call center agent, was traveling westbound on New Panaderos street when he struck Bisco, who was crossing the street.

Due to the impact, Co’s back rider, Claire Ann Diga, 22, was thrown off the motorcycle.

Co and Diga both suffered injuries. They were taken to the Sta. Ana Hospital for treatment.

Meanwhile, a couple was stabbed dead by an unidentified assailant at their house in Sta. Ana, Manila on Friday.

Aside from stabbing, police said the suspect hit the victims with a hammer.

Probers said they have yet to determine the motive for the killing as well as the suspect’s identity.
