CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY, Philippines — Two people died while three others were injured in a collision in El Salvador, Misamis Oriental on Monday.

Mohammad Binmuhaimen Umpat and Mazhoni Usman were declared dead on arrival in a hospital, where Hakim Limpao, Hadji Salam Khalid and Mohammad Mangandog were also taken for treatment of injuries.

Reports said a cargo truck driven by Ernie Apor was traveling in Barangay Taytay at 10:30 a.m. when it collided with a pickup truck.

The fatalities and the injured victims were reportedly the driver and passengers of the pickup. Probers have yet to determine the cause of the accident.
