MANILA, Philippines — The Land Transportation Office (LTO) yesterday issued a show-cause order on a motorcycle rider for entering the South Luzon Expressway (SLEX) and uploading his illegal act on social media.

The rider, who is a vlogger, was ordered to appear at the LTO Law Enforcement Service on Sept. 16.

LTO chief Vigor Mendoza condemned the act of the motorcycle rider.

The rider uploaded a video of him passing through the SLEX even if he was aware that motorcycles below 400cc are not allowed on expressways.

“The investigation will determine whether or not the motorcycle rider’s license will be suspended or revoked,” Mendoza said.

The rider is facing complaints for disregarding traffic sign and reckless driving.

His driver’s license and the Kawasaki 250 (428UDE) have been placed under alarm pending the result of the probe.
