Over 600 from Central Mindanao take PMA entrance test
COTABATO CITY — At least 650 examinees from across Central Mindanao took the Philippine Military Academy entrance examination on Saturday until Sunday at a testing site in Kabacan town in Cotabato province.
Radio reports on Monday stated that the two-day activity, held at a public gymnasium in the town proper of Kabacan in the Third District of Cotabato, was facilitated by representatives from PMA led by Army Captain Jocel May Alicog with the help of the office of Gov. Emmylou Taliño-Mendoza and the local government unit of Kabacan.
Alicog said they are thankful to the local executives and the staff of Mendoza, Jessie Francisco Enid Jr., who assisted them in administering the two-day PMA entrance testing in Kabacan.
Many of the examinees are from far-flung municipalities in Cotabato province and nearby areas.
In separate statements on Monday, Major Gen. Antonio Nafarrete of the Army's 6th Infantry Division covering Central Mindanao and Lt. Gen. Roy Galido, commander of the Philippine Army, who both belong to PMA’s Class 1990, said they are grateful to the provincial government of Cotabato for helping oversee the activity.
