DMW OKs global rollout of OFW Pass

MANILA, Philippines — Overseas Filipino workers can now avail themselves of the OFW Pass service, according to the Department of Migrant Workers (DMW).

“Better and improved DMW Mobile App - OFW Pass now on its global rollout,” the DMW said.

OFWs in 10 destination countries can avail themselves of the mobile app service.

Last year, the DMW launched the OFW Pass to replace the traditional Overseas Employment Certificate required from departing OFWs.

The service was pilot-tested in Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Hong Kong, Singapore, Qatar, Oman, Malaysia, Taiwan, Japan, United Kingdom and the Philippines.

The DMW Mobile App allows OFWs to create their e-registration account and secure their information sheet.
