MANILA, Philippines — More than 1,400 jobs were offered to about 650 beneficiaries of the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) during a job fair at the Malabon Sports Complex yesterday.
Mayor Jeannie Sandoval said the event aims to provide employment opportunities to residents.
The job fair, organized by the Malabon Public Employment Service Office in partnership with the Department of Social Welfare and Development, featured 10 companies offering various jobs.
Available jobs include service crews, air-con technicians, drivers, forklift operators, housekeeping staff and welders.
The 4Ps is the government’s poverty alleviation program that provides cash subsidies to the poorest households to improve health, nutrition and education.
