PITX to open new routes this month
MANILA, Philippines — The Parañaque Integrated Terminal Exchange (PITX) will open new routes this month as part of its ongoing effort to expand its services.
In a statement yesterday, the PITX management said it would launch routes going to Dagupan City and San Carlos City in Pangasinan on June 13.
Additionally, a new route going to Tuguegarao City, Cagayan will begin on June 14.
“These new routes are set to provide more convenient travel options for passengers, enhancing connectivity and accessibility to key destinations,” the statement read.
“PITX remains focused on further enhancing its services and expanding its reach,” it added.
Since it started its operations in 2019, the public transport hub has reached 146 million overall foot traffic.
With the new additional routes, PITX spokesman Jason Salvador said they are confident that they will exceed 150 million foot traffic at the end of the month.
“We are thrilled to have reached 146 million overall foot traffic since we started operations. This achievement is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our entire team, as well as the support of our valued customers,” Salvador said.
“We are excited to continue on this trajectory and are confident that we will surpass 150 million overall foot traffic this end of June,” he added.
The PITX has terminals for jeepneys as well as provincial, city and Cavite buses.
