MANILA, Philippines — The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) announced yesterday the voluntary recall of Korean dimsum products by its local distributor.

In an advisory, the FDA said CJ Foods Philippines Corp. recalled Bibigo Mandu Prawn Dumplings (15DEC2023 P1), Bibigo Mini Mandu Prawn Frozen Korean Dumplings (14DEC2023 P1) and Cau Tre Seafood Net Spring Roll (14DEC2023 P1, 16DEC2023 P1).

“The product recall applies only to the affected batch codes,” the FDA said.

The local distributor recalled its dimsum products due to the potential presence of undeclared allergen (egg) in these products, according to the FDA.

“People, especially children who have hypersensitivity to eggs, should avoid consuming the abovementioned products,” the advisory read.

Consumers who have purchased or have any concerns about the subject products may contact CJ Foods Philippines at (02) 8815-6194 or email cjf.ph@cj.net.
