2 girls drown in Bulacan river
Janshane de Jesus, 13, and Krisalyn Kasandra Alpes, 14, were found at past 3 p.m. near the villages of Iba O Este and Caniogan, respectively, according to reports received by Bulacan police director Col. Relly Arnedo.

MALOLOS, Philippines — Two teenage girls were found floating in a river in Calumpit, Bulacan on Saturday afternoon.

Janshane de Jesus, 13, and Krisalyn Kasandra Alpes, 14, were found at past 3 p.m. near the villages of Iba O Este and Caniogan, respectively, according to reports received by Bulacan police director Col. Relly Arnedo.

Probers said the girls were last seen on Friday night walking in Barangay Palimbang.

Investigation is ongoing.
