CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga, Philippines — Three people died in a fire that hit a junk shop in Meycauayan, Bulacan yesterday.

The fatalities were identified as workers Artemio Ines Jr. and Christina Ababon and Angel Ines, 7.

The fire started at Akilan Scrap Trading along Soriano street in Barangay Libtong at 1 p.m., according to reports received by Brig. Gen. Jose Hidalgo Jr., Central Luzon police director.

The fire was declared out after more than two hours.

Probers have yet to determine the cause of the fire.
