4 nabbed in Zambales sting

SAN FERNANDO, Pampanga, Philippines — A drug suspect was arrested along with three others in an anti-narcotics operation in Subic, Zambales on Saturday night.

Bong Joseph Caluag was reportedly on the drug watchlist, according to the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA).

Aside from Caluag, PDEA agents also collared Julian Sebastian, Elmer Talamal and Albert del Rosario during the raid on a makeshift drug den in Barangay Calapacuan.

Sebastian was allegedly the maintainer of the drug den.

Authorities recovered nine grams of shabu with an estimated street value of P61,200, drug paraphernalia and marked money.

The suspects will be charged with violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, the PDEA said.
