17 injured in Cotabato vehicular mishap

KIDAPAWAN CITY, Philippines — Seventeen people were injured when a truck rolled over in Makilala, Cotabato on Monday afternoon.

The truck came from President Roxas town in Cotabato and was on its way to Malungon, Sarangani when it figured in the accident in Barangay Bulatukan, a report from the Makilala police said.

Witnesses told responding police officers that the truck first hit a fruit stall before it rolled over.

The truck driver and his passengers were rushed to different hospitals for treatment of injuries.
