MANILA, Philippines — Grab Philippines yesterday unveiled efforts to enhance service, including platform experience, social safety nets as well as earnings fairness and sustainability.

Grab Philippines chief operating officer Ronald Roda said that the delivery service’s resilience is a reflection of Grab’s philosophy that “success is intertwined with the success of our partners.”

“As we continue to navigate the post-pandemic era, we are firm in our commitment to showcasing our adaptability and unwavering support to our delivery-partners,” he said.

Roda added that with the progressive enhancements, Grab is not just optimizing a service but also fortifying a platform of vast opportunities.

According to Roda, in response to the evolving macroeconomic landscape, Grab Philippines is reinforcing its commitment to its delivery-partners.

“These initiatives are engineered to ensure that Grab’s partners not only withstand current market changes like the rise of dine-in culture and inflation, but also experience improved overall well-being and job satisfaction,” he added.

He added that the substantial upgrades to the partner-platform interaction aims to address several operational challenges that delivery-partners face every day.

“Grab is deploying solutions designed to address the long-standing issue of delivery-partners spending valuable time in the merchant stores to wait for the orders. These include advanced digital tools for better order forecasting and preparation time accuracy, alongside merchant education programs. By doing so, Grab aspires to significantly diminish unnecessary delays, letting partners fulfill more orders in less time, and thereby increasing their potential earnings,” Roda said.
