MANILA, Philippines — The Commission on Elections inaugurated yesterday the new Comelec regional office in Greenhills, San Juan.

Comelec Chairman George Garcia, San Juan Mayor Francis Zamora and other officials led the inauguration.

Poll commissioners, Comelec National Capital Region director Jubil Surmieda and other election officers from Metro Manila were also present during the event.

The Comelec office is on the third floor of the four-story building situated in a 3,000-square-meter property in Greenhills.

It will also house other government agencies such as the San Juan fire department and Greenhills barangay hall.
