Construction worker stabs stepson to death
MANILA, Philippines — A construction worker was arrested after he allegedly stabbed his stepson to death in Quezon City on Sunday night.
Graciano Duromal, 68, and his stepson, 41-year-old Basilio Azores, were binge drinking when they figured in an argument, police said.
Azores was about to leave their house when Duromal reportedly stabbed him twice with a kitchen knife, according to probers.
The stabbing occurred in Barangay Holy Spirit at around 7:25 p.m., police said.
Azores’ partner rushed him to a hospital but he was declared dead on arrival.
Duromal was apprehended by police in a follow-up operation.
