Caloocan launches anti-harassment help desk
MANILA, Philippines — To protect residents of Caloocan from incidents of sexual abuse, violence and exploitation, the city government has launched a help desk addressing these issues, Mayor Dale Gonzalo Malapitan said in an advisory yesterday.
Complainants and witnesses of sexual abuse may reach out to the city government through its Anti-Sexual Harassment desk and hotline at 0956-8843210 or send a message to [email protected], .
They could also proceed to the gender and development resource and coordinating office at the eighth floor of the Caloocan City Hall-South, he added.
The launch of the ASH help desk “is a perfect way to conclude Women’s Month (last March) and kick off the Sexual Assault Awareness Month this April,” he said in a statement.
